Alvin Darius Dove

Mr. Alvin Darius Dove, 82, of 3211 Burton Court, Temple Hill, Maryland (formerly of Kinston, NC) peacefully closed his eyes into eternal rest in the arms of his wife on Monday, January 15, 2024, in the quietness of his home.  Funeral services for Mr. Dove will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, January 26, 2024, at St. Augustus AME Zion Church (318 North Street) Kinston, NC.  Interment will follow in Pinelawn Memorial Park (4488 Hwy 70 W.) Kinston, NC.  There will be a walk-through viewing on January 25, 2024, from 4-6pm at the funeral home.  A Public Viewing will be held at 11:00am on Friday (01/26/2024) one hour before the service at the church.  Service will be livestreamed via Albritton-Carraway Facebook page.  ​​DUE TO VARIANTS OF COVID-19, MASKS ARE REQUIRED AT THE CHURCH.

Mr. Dove is survived by his loving wife, Crystal Chapman Dove of the home, his two daughters, Veronica and Donna, his step-son, Michael Ruth, and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
