Homegoing Celebration for ARLETHA WATSON DeVAN "LITTLE HONEY", 79, of 1200 Plesant Street, Winston Salem, NC (Formerly of Kinston, NC) who closed her eyes into the joys of the Lord on Friday, September 8,2023 in Winston Salem, NC will be held at 1:00PM Friday, September 15,2023 at Mount Sinia Full Gospel Deliverance Center (2721 Manchester Street) Winston Salem, NC. A viewing will be held on Thursday, September 14, 2023 from 1-5:00pm at Russell Funeral Home. Visitation will be held 12:00 noon prior to the service on Friday, September 15,2023. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Russell Funeral Home, (822 Carl Russell Avenue) Winston Salem, NC.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Arletha Watson, her husband, Russell DeVan, her siblings, Ada D. Watson, Grace M. Watson, Ralph E. Watson, and daughter, Gwendolyn R. Watson.
Ms. Devan leaves to cherish her memories, two nieces, Cynthia Watson Jeffries of Winston-Salem, NC, Sherrie F. Dampeer of Brooklyn, NY, two- goddaughters, her church family, the Windley Family, a host of adopted brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, grands, great-grands, and friends.
