Benjamin Franklin Turnage

Benjamin Franklin Turnage, 84, of 312 Warren Avenue, Kinston, NC entered into eternal rest on Friday, July 1,2022 at UNC Lenoir HealthCare in Kinston, NC. Funeral services for Mr. Turnage will be held at 12 noon on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at Hull Road Free Will Baptist Church (2660 US 258, Kinston, NC).  Interment will follow in Pinelawn Memorial Park (4488 W Vernon Avenue, Kinston, NC).  A walk-through viewing will be held from 3-6:00pm on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at the funeral home.  DUE TO VARIANTS OF COVID-19, MASKS AND SOCIAL DISTANCING ARE REQUIRED AT THE FUNERAL HOME, CHURCH, AND CEMETERY.

Mr. Turnage is survived by his wife, Nancy Mae Hardy Turnage, his daughter, Katta T. Laws (Gregory), his sister, Lula Mae Turnage, his brothers, James "Jimbo" Turnage, and George Turnage, five grandchildren, and other relatives and friends.
