Bernard Von Joyner

Mr. Bernard Von Joyner, 76, of 1510 E. Caswell Street, Kinston, NC closed his eyes into eternal rest early Thursday morning, August 24, 2023, in the quietness of his home.  Funeral services for Mr. Joyner will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, September 1, 2023, at First Missionary Baptist Church (801 E. Gordon Street) Kinston, NC.  Interment will follow in Oak Hill Memorial Gardens (2603 Tower Hill Road) Kinston, NC.  A walk-through viewing will be held on Thursday, August 31, 2023, at the funeral home from 3-6:00 pm.  DUE TO VARIANTS OF COVID-19, MASKS ARE REQUIRED AT THE FUNERAL HOME AND THE CHURCH.  
 

Mr. Joyner is survived by his daughters, Tadzia Joyner of the home, Marcelette Joyner of Charlotte, NC, Kimbly Joyner of Kinston, NC, 7 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 2 sisters, Monte (John) Floyd of Tampa, FL, Oveta Thompson of Atlantic City, NJ, several adopted grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
