Bessie Lee Poole

Mother Bessie Lee Poole, 100, of 503 N. Queen Street, Apt.2 Kinston, NC peacefully closed her eyes into the joys of the Lord on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, in the quietness of her residence surrounded by loved ones.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at 11:00am at Holly Hill Missionary Baptist Church (2224 Paul's Path Road) Kinston, NC.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  A walk-through viewing will be held on Friday, June 19, 2026, from 3-6:00pm at the funeral home.

Mother Poole is survived by her daughter, Alice Faye Johnson of Washington, DC, her two grandchildren, Terrance Poole (Jennifer) of Winterville, NC, Lisa Poole of Washington, DC, 2 great-grandchildren, Shawnta Hagans (Patrick), Kowan Poole, 3 great great-grandchildren, Shayla, TJ, Shyla, 1 special niece, 1 special cousin, 3 special friends, her care giver, a host of other relatives, and friends.
