Beveraly Joyce Bowden

Ms. Beveraly Joyce Bowden, 74, of 1041 Austin Drive, Chesapeake, VA (formerly of Kinston, NC) peacefully closed her eyes into eternal peace early Thursday morning, February 20, 2025, at Waterside Health and Rehabilitation Center in Norfolk, VA.  Funeral services for Ms. Bowden will be held at 11:00am on Friday, February 28, 2025, at Jerusalem Free Will Baptist Church (395 Jerusalem Church Road) Seven Springs, NC.  Interment will follow in Church Family Cemetery.  A walk-through viewing will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2025, from 3-6pm at the funeral home.  DUE TO VARIANTS OF COVID-19, MASKS ARE REQUIRES AT THE FUNERAL HOME AND CHURCH.

Ms. Bowden is survived by her brother, Larry Bowden (Peggy of the home, her nieces, Tiffany Bowden Moore (Micheal) of Charlotte, NC, Keisha Joyner of Chesapeake, VA, Kailee Joyner of Richmond, VA, 2 special friends, Diane Jones of Kinston, NC, Kim Kenyatta of Virginia Beach, VA, a host of cousins, extended family, and lifelong friends.
