Ms. Callie Jean Hooks Leonard, 64, of 2575 W 5th Street, Greenville, NC (formerly of Kinston, NC) peacefully closed her eyes into eternal rest on Sunday, January 25, 2026, at ECU HealthCare Hospital in Greenville, NC. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 12:00 noon on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at St. Peter Church of Christ Church (607 JP Harrison Blvd) Kinston, NC. A walk-through viewing will be held on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, from 3-6:00pm at the funeral home. Masks are available.
Ms. Leonard is survived by her sons, Adrian Williams of Williamston, NC, James Rashad Gooding Hooks of Kinston, NC, her siblings, Evelyn Brown, Regina Jones (Charles) all of Kinston, NC, Heather Hooks Rogers of Clayton, NC, Melvin Hooks, Sr. of Asheboro, NC, Todd Hooks of Port Mouth, VA, 5 grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and Harmony Hall Nursing and Rehabilitation friends.
