Carrie Irene Lawson Ammons

Ms. Carrie Irene Lawson Ammons, 101, of 9800 Ambler Lane, Largo, Maryland (formerly of Kinston, NC) peacefully closed her eyes into the joys of the Lord early Thursday morning, July 27,2023, in the quietness of her home.  Funeral services for Ms. Ammons will be held on Saturday, August 5, 2023, at Church of Faith and Deliverance (655 Sussex Street) Kinston, NC, starting with a public viewing at 11:00am followed by funeral service at 12 noon. Entombment will be held at Pinelawn Memorial Park (4488 Hwy 70 W.) Kinston, NC.  There will be no public viewing at the funeral home.  DUE TO VARIANTS OF COVID-19, MASKS ARE REQUIRED AT THE CHURCH.

Ms. Ammons is survived by her children, Jesse Ammons (Janice), Sr. of Kinston, NC, Robert Earl Ammons, Harry Lee Ammons, Sr., and Vernell Ammons all of Maryland, a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
