Mr. Christopher Adam Platt, 45, of 191 Commerce Drive, Villa Rica, Georgia (formerly of Kinston) closed his eyes into eternal rest on Thursday, July 24, 2025, in Dekalb, Georgia.  Funeral service for Mr. Platt will be held at 2:00pm Sunday, August 3, 2025, with Visitation starting at 1:00pm prior to service at St. James AME Church (402 E. Shine Street) Kinston, NC.  Interment will be Monday, August 11, 2025, at 12:00 noon in Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery (164 Longs Plant Farm Road) Goldsboro, NC.  There will be NO VIEWING at the funeral home.

Mr. Platt is survived by his parents, Edward Louis Platt, Cathy Moore Bryant and Arthur Wayne Bryant, his siblings, Erika Michelle Davis, Marliss Platt, Marie Antoinette Green, Virginia Carol Green, Tereka Tawan Green, Timothy Aaron (Pamela), Raymond Lewis Green, Bobby Jones, Roberto Campbell, a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
