Highland Avenue, Kinston, NC entered into eternal rest on Saturday, May 16, 2026, in the quietness of his home.  Funeral services for Mr. Jackson will be held at 12:00pm on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at Greater Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church (311 East Street) Kinston, NC.  A Wake will be held on Friday, May 29, 2026, from 4-6 at Greater Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church.

Mr. Jackson is survived by his wife, Eula Herring of Raleigh, NC, his children, Keosha Stevens of Kinston, NC, Kiaira Herring of Raleigh, NC, Corey Jackson Jr. of the home, his father, William Hamm of Kinston, NC, his siblings, Wanda Hamm-Barrett of Jacksonville, NC, Raime Hamm of Greenville, NC, Yulanda Wiggins, Jacqueline Wiggins, Angela Parrish, Angelique Parrish all of Philadelphia, PA, Michael Hamm (Demetressa) of Smithfield, NC, William Hamm Jr. of Washington, DC, Trevor Hamm (Shanda), Keith Hamm (Linda) all of Greensboro, NC, five grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
