Daniel Shelton Mumford

Mr. Daniel Shelton Mumford, 69, of 1547 indigo Lane, Kinston, NC closed his eyes into eternal rest on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at UNC Lenoir Health Care in Kinston, NC.  Funeral services for Mr. Mumford will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at Albritton-Carraway Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will follow in Southview Cemetery (1351 Old Asphalt Road) Kinston, NC.  A walk-through viewing will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, from 3-6pm at the funeral home.  

Mr. Mumford is survived by his wife, Jaddie Williams Mumford of the home, his son, Minister Daniel Hart, his daughter, Renea Hart both of Kinston, NC, 3 brothers, Johnny Mumford of Brown Town Michigan, Rev. Jimmy Mumford, Lester Mumford both of Kinston, NC,  3-sisters, Lottie Mitchell, Darnell Jones, both of Kinston, NC, Jessie Lee of Baltimore, MD,  1 sister-in-law, 5 brothers-in-law, 1 granddaughter, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
