Derrick Lamont Jones

Mr. Derrick Lamont Jones, 45, of 903 College Street, Kinston, NC closed his eyes into eternal rest on Sunday, June 29, 2025, at ECU Health Medical Hospital in Greenville, NC.  Funeral service for Mr. Jones will be held at 1:00pm on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, with a Public Viewing at 12:00 noon at Church of Faith and Deliverance (655 Sussex Street) Kinston, NC.  A walk-through viewing will be held on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, from 3-6:00pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Jones is survived by his daughter, Jasmine Jones, his father, Oscar Rouse, his siblings, Latonia Rouse, Tamekia Rouse, Carla Miller, Keshia Wooten, Natoshia Hawkins, Yolonda Thompson, Terris Rhodes, Roger Thompson, and Lamont Entzminger, 9 aunts, 5 uncles, 17 nieces, 9 nephews, a host of cousins and friends.
