Dorothy Mae Whitfield Hyman

Mrs. Dorothy Mae Whitfield Hyman, 65, of 1915 Ruby Circle, Kinston, NC peacefully closed her eyes into eternal joy on Monday night, June 16, 2025, at UNC Lenoir Health Hospital.  Funeral services for Ms. Hyman will be held 12:00 noon on Friday, June 27,2025, at Herring Grove Free Will Baptist Church (4851 US-70) Kinston, NC.  Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery (917 Cleveland Drive) Kinston, NC.  A WALK-THROUGH VIEWING will be held on Thursday, June 26,2025 from 3-6:00 PM at the funeral home. MASKS ARE AVAILABLE.

Mrs. Hyman is survived by her husband, Roscoe Hyman of the home, her siblings, Eva F. Patrick (Charles), Bettie J. Jones (John, Jr.), Etta Wilson all of Kinston, NC, George C. Weathington (Muriel) of Washington, DC, her In-laws, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
