Mr. Eugene “Mike” Hightower III, 64, of 1704 Elizabeth Drive, Kinston, NC, entered into eternal life on Thursday, October 28, 2021 in the quietness of his home. Graveside services for Mr. Hightower will be at 10:00 am on Friday, November 5, 2021 at Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, 164 Longs Plant Farm Road, Goldsboro, NC with Military Honors. A walk-through viewing will be held on Thursday, November 4, 2021 from 3:00-6:00 pm at the funeral home. DUE TO DELTA VIRUS AND COVID-19, MASKS AND SOCIAL DISTANCING ARE REQUIRED AT THE FUNERAL HOME AND CEMETERY.
Mr. Hightower is survived by his wife, Lisa Wooten Hightower of the home, son; Jalil Halms, godson; JaQuan Marshburn, his parents; Eugene and Vera Pernell Hightower, Jr, three aunts, two uncles and a host of cousins and friends.
