Mrs. Evelyn Grace Skeens "BOOBOO" Hodges, 75 of 800 Herbert Drive, Kinston, NC peacefully closed her eyes into eternal rest on Sunday, October 31, 2021 in the quietness of her home. Funeral services for Mrs. Hodges will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Greater St. Paul United Holy Church, 2101 Tower Hill Road, Kinston, NC. Interment will follow in Sand Hill Church Cemetery. A walk-through viewing will be held on Friday, November 5, 20201 from 3:00-6:00pm at the funeral home. DUE TO DELTA VIRUS AND COVID-19, MASKS AND SOCIAL DISTANCING ARE REQUIRED AT THE FUNERAL HOME, CHURCH, AND CEMETERY.
Mrs. Hodges is survived by her children, James Allen Hodges Jr., Jeffrey Allen Hodges, Jennifer Grace Hodges-Gordon, eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, her siblings, Edward Skeens, Gloria Miller, Hattie McBynum, Kathryn Cox, Geraldine Mills and a host of other relatives and friends.
