Frances Battle Green

Ms. Frances Battle Green, 89, of 2957 Elm Grove Road, Kinston, NC peacefully closed her eyes into the joys of the Lord Saturday morning, October 4, 2025, in the quietness of her home surrounded with family.  A Celebration of Life service will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at Vine Swamp COC DOC Church (3472 Hwy 58 S) Kinston, NC.  Interment will follow in Southview Cemetery (1351 Old Asphalt Road) Kinston, NC.  A walk-through viewing will be held on Friday, October 10, 2025, from 3-6:00pm and Masks are available at the funeral home.  The Family is NOT receiving any visitation at the home.

Ms. Green is survived by two very special nephews/caregivers, George Miller, Sr. of the home, Uronus Miller, Sr. (Trenia) of Kinston, NC, her nephew, Major General, Alfred K. Flowers (Ida) of San Antonio, Texas, a devoted sister-in-law, Gracie Foye Battle of Kinston, NC, 3 sister-in-laws, one brother-in-law, her great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and a host of countless friends who cherish her memory and the joy she brought into their lives.
