Hazel Lee Blount Coward

Mrs. Hazel Lee Blount Coward, 72, of 1875 Will Cunningham Road, Deep Run, NC peacefully closed her eyes into the joys of the Lord Friday evening, November 24, 2023, at UNC Lenoir Health Care in Kinston, NC.  Funeral services for Mrs. Coward will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, December 1, 2023, at Church of Faith and Deliverance (655 Sussex Street) Kinston, NC.  Interment will follow in Beasley Cemetery (Wise Fork Road) Dover, NC.  There will not be a public viewing.  DUE TO VARIANTS OF COVID-19, MASKS ARE REQUIRED AT THE CHURCH.

Mrs. Coward is survived by her husband, Andrew (AC) Coward of the home, her children, Ashley Green, Jamil Blount, stepdaughter, Sha Ellison, her siblings, Arleen McCoy, Jeanette Ingram, Minnie Burgess, Felicia Shepard, Walter Simmons, Ethel Sutton, Merlin Blount, Henry Simmons, and Anderson Simmons, eleven grandchildren, two great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
