Herbert “Red” Suggs Jr.

Mr. Herbert “Red” Suggs Jr., 68, of MileStocks Road, Hookerton, NC peacefully closed his eyes into eternal rest on Monday, January 16, 2023, at UNC Lenoir Health Care, Kinston, NC.  Funeral services for Mr. Suggs will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 21, 2023, at United Gospel Outreach Church (2682 NC-11) Kinston, NC.  Interment will follow in Pinelawn Memorial Park (4488 Hwy 70 W.) Kinston, NC.  A walk-through viewing will be held on Friday, January 20, 2023, from 3-6:00pm at the funeral home.  DUE TO VARIANTS OF COVID-19, MASKS AND SOCIAL DISTANCING ARE REQUIRED AT THE FUNERAL HOME, CHURCH, AND CEMETERY.  

Mr. Suggs is survived by his children, Tracey Michelle Suggs, Rico DeVon Suggs, Charles Peterson, his siblings, Sandra Suggs Davis, Kenneth Suggs, his uncle, Willie Pettiway, 12 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, his nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
