Ms. Ida Lee Selby Dawson, 89, of 1714 Cedar Lane, Kinston, NC peacefully closed her eyes into the joys of the Lord early Saturday morning, June 18,2022 in the quietness of her home. Funeral services for Mother Ida Lee Selby Dawson will be held at 12:00noon on Saturday, June 25, 2022, at Holly Hill Missionary Baptist Church (2031 Paul's Path Road) Kinston, NC.  Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery in LaGrange, NC.  A walk-through viewing will be held from 3-6:00pm on Friday, June 24, 2022, at the funeral home.  DUE TO VARIANTS OF COVID-19, MASKS AND SOCIAL DISTANCING ARE REQUIRED AT THE FUNERAL HOME, CHURCH, AND CEMETERY.

Mother Dawson is survived by her husband, Deacon Lonnie Dawson of the home, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, friends, and adopted children, Harold and Sharon Warren and Wilbert and Joyce Johnson.
