James Clifton Arnold "Butter-Cup"

Mr. James Clifton Arnold "Butter-Cup", 99, of 2150 Hull Road, Kinston, NC peacefully closed his eyes into the joys of the Lord on Wednesday morning, December 3, 2025, at North Carolina State Veterans Home in Kinston, NC.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at Church of Faith and Deliverance Church (655 Sussex Street) Kinston, NC.  Interment will follow at 10:00am on Thursday morning, December 11, 2025, at Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery (164 Longs Plant Farm Road) Goldsboro, NC with Military Honors.  A walk-through viewing will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, from 3-6:00pm at the funeral home.  Masks are available.

Mr. Arnold is survived by his devoted sister, Mae King Mason (Dennis), his 2 devoted nephews, Thornton King (Lorraine), Anthony King (Linda) his devoted nieces, Dr. Keisha Smith, Tasha Owens (Dwayne), Denisha Hosey (John) 1 sister-in-law, Rosa Lee King, a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
