James Thurman Wooten

Mr. James Thurmon Wooten "JT", 75, of 139 Country View Lane, Kinston, NC entered into eternal rest on Friday, January 2, 2026, in the quietness of his home.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:30 pm on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Holly Grove FWB (3219 Kennedy Home Road) La Grange, NC.  Interment will follow in Holly Grove Church Cemetery.  A walk-through viewing will be held at the funeral home on Friday, January 9, 2026, from 3-6:00 pm at the funeral home.  Masks are available.  

Mr. Wooten is survived by his wife, Virginia Wooten, his children, Debra Hall (Antoine), Nicole Brown (Joel), Tammy Lewis, Regina Washington, Tasha Nobles, Jamie L. Wooten (Suwane), Kevin Morgan, William Lewis, his sisters, Valetha Wooten, Maggie Davis (David Lee), a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Services of Love, Dignity, and Care are being rendered by Albritton-Carraway Funeral Home.
