Ms. Jean McDaniel Weathington, 88, of 1304 SE 22 Street in Snow Hill, NC closed her eyes into eternal rest on Friday, August 20, 2021 at UNC Lenoir Health Care in Kinston, NC. Funeral services for Ms. Weathington will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, August 27, 2021 at Church of Faith and Deliverance, 655 Sussex Street, Kinston, NC. Burial will be at a later date. A walk-through viewing will be held from 3:00 pm to 6:00 PM on Thursday, August 26, 2021 at the funeral home. DUE TO DELTA VIRUS AND COVID-19, MASKS AND SOCIAL DISTANCING ARE REQUIRED at the Funeral Home, and Church.
Ms. Weathington is survived by her children; Helen Foye, Susan Thompson, and Mary Williams of Kinston NC, Sabrina Pugh of Raleigh, NC, Sharann Solomon of LaGrange, NC, Kaye Willingham of Murrieta, CA, Octavia Solomon of Grifton, NC, 19 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren, and many great, great-grandchildren, 2 nieces, 3 nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
