Jesse “Gene” Wheeler

Mr. Jesse “Gene” Wheeler, 76, of 806 Fairfield Ave, Kinston, NC peacefully closed his eyes into the joys of the Lord on Sunday, January 23, 2022 at Lenoir UNC Health Care in Kinston, NC.  Graveside service for Mr. Wheeler will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Parrott Family Cemetery, (Hwy 70 W, LaGrange, NC).  The service will be livestreamed via Albritton-Carraway Funeral Home Facebook page. A walk-through viewing will be held from 3-6:00pm on  Friday, February 4, 2022 at the funeral home.  DUE TO THE DIFFERENT VARIANTS OF COVID-19, MASKS AND SOCIAL DISTANCING ARE REQUIRED AT THE FUNERAL HOME AND CEMETERY.  

Mr. Wheeler is survived by his sisters; Christine Allen of Philadelphia, PA, Lillie Wheeler of Brooklyn, NY, Nance Brewer of Stone Mountain, GA, Lisa Asonda Williams of Corona, NY, Betty Moore of Queens, NY, Margaret Parks, Vivian McBynum, and Margaret Hall of Kinston, NC; a "Big Brother", Matt Croom, of Kinston, NC; a goddaughter, Tiwana Randolph, a host of relatives and many friends.
