Jimmie Dawson

Mr. Jimmie Dawson, 81, of 3883 Ed-Herring Road, LaGrange, NC closed his eyes into eternal rest on Monday, February 23, 2026, in the quietness of his home surrounded with family. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at Simro Free Will Baptist Church (5251 Old Jason Road) LaGrange, NC.  Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery on South Street, LaGrange, NC.  A walk-through viewing will be held Friday, February 27, 2026, from 3-6:00pm at the funeral home.  Masks are available.

Mr. Dawson is survived by his wife, Ella Mae Brayboy Dawson of the home, his children, Ina Rawlinson (William) of LaGrange, NC, Herman Dawson (Marietta) of Havelock, NC, Terry Dawson (LaKisha) of Winterville, NC, Brenda Dawson, James Dawson (Juanita) all of LaGrange, NC, 18 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.  

Services of Love, Dignity, and Care are being rendered by Albritton-Carraway Funeral Home.
