Mr. Leslie Edward Blount, 73, of 1328 SE 2nd Street, Snow Hill, NC closed his eyes into eternal rest on Sunday evening, December 14, 2025, at Snow Hill Memory Care. A CELEBRATION OF LIFE SERVICE will be held 11:00 AM Monday, December 22, 2025, at At The Cross Church Ministries (3806 Hwy 258 North) Kinston, NC. Interment will follow in Southview Cemetery (1351 Old Asphalt Road) Kinston, NC.  A WALK-THROUGH VIEWING will be held on Sunday, December 21, 2025, at the funeral home from 3-6:00PM. He is survived by his dear friend, Elizabeth Rouse, his siblings, Jennie Mumford of Kinston, NC, Ether Newborn of Greenville, NC, Annie Joseph of Florida,  Edward Earl Blount (Cynthia) of Kinston, NC, Donald Blount (Mary) of Burlington, NC, his sisters in law, Ellen Blount, Janice Porter both of Snow Hill, NC, twenty-five nieces and nephews, a host of cousins, and friends.
