Mr. Linwood Earl Platt, 71, of 318 Riverview Lane, Kinston, NC entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, NC.  We regret to inform you that the walk-through Memorial Service scheduled for Saturday, December 18, 2021 from 2:00-5:00pm at the funeral home has been canceled.

Mr. Platt leaves a loving and devoted family to cherish him - a companion, Darvetta Kay Bryant of Kinston, NC; a son, Marion Devon Bryant of Greenville, NC; a daughter, Shanetta Latrice White (Ovid) of Winston Salem, NC; and two grandsons - Marquise Devonte White and Kendall Jamar White of Winston Salem, NC; two granddaughters - Khameryn Robertson of Knightdale, NC and Aniya Janae White of Winston Salem, NC; three brothers - Edward Louis Platt, Allen Roger Platt, and Michael Lee Platt (Jacqueline) of Kinston, NC; and three sisters - Patricia Platt Waithe (Rupert) of Jamaica, NY, Nancy Platt Foley (Robert) of Corpus Christi, TX, and Sharon Platt Jackson (Cornelius) of Jacksonville, NC; one aunt - Mamie Gooding Nurse of Washington, DC, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
