Mary Darden

Ms. Mary Darden, 87, of 308 Wilson Avenue, Kinston, NC peacefully closed her eyes into the joys of the Lord on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro, NC.  Funeral services for Ms. Darden will be held at 12 noon on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at St. Augustus AME Zion Church (318 E. North Street) Kinston, NC.  Interment will follow in Southview Cemetery (1351 Old Asphalt Road) Kinston, NC.  A walk-through viewing will held from 3-4:30pm on Monday, June 20, 2022  at the funeral home.  There will be a viewing from 5-7:00pm on Monday, June 20, 2022, at St. Augustus AME Zion church and the Ivy Beyond The Wall Ceremony will start at 6:00pm.  DUE TO VARIANTS OF COVID-19, MASKS AND SOCIAL DISTANCING ARE REQUIRED AT THE FUNERAL HOME, CHURCH, AND CEMETERY.

Ms. Darden is survived by her son Gregory “Greg” Darden of the home, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
