Ms. Mary Newborn Waters, 92 of 104 Parker Place, Dudley, NC peacefully closed her eyes into the joys of the Lord early Thursday morning, August 29,2024 at Bellarose Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Garner, NC. Funeral services for Ms. Waters will be held at 12:00 noon on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at Hull Road Free Will Baptist Church (2660 US-258) Kinston, NC.  Interment will follow in Wayne Memorial Park (2925 US-117) Dudley, NC.  Public Viewing will be held Thursday morning, September 5, 2024, at 11:00 am at the church. NO VIEWING AT THE FUNERAL HOME.

Ms. Waters is survived by her children, David Allen Waters of the home, Evelyn Waters of Forestville, MD, Barbara Waters Andrews (Thomas) of Raleigh, NC, Carolyn Waters Logan of Goldsboro, NC. Annie Waters Battle (William) of Garner, NC, goddaughters, Sylvia Purvis (Dennis) of Benson, NC, Claudette Hocutt of Goldsboro, NC, 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, a host of in-laws, cousins, and friends.
