Matthew "June" Ruffins

Mr. Matthew "June" Ruffins, 83, of 516 Tower Hill Road Kinston, NC closed his eyes into eternal rest on Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at UNC Lenoir Health Care.  Funeral services for Mr. Ruffins will be held at 11:00am on Friday, June 17, 2022, at Albritton-Carraway Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will follow in Southview Cemetery, (1351 Old Asphalt Road, Kinston, NC).  A walk-through viewing will be held from 3-6:00pm on Thursday, June 16, 2022, at the funeral home.  DUE TO VARIANTS OF COVID-19, MASKS AND SOCIAL DISTANCING ARE REQUIRED AT THE FUNERAL HOME AND CEMETERY.

Mr. Ruffins is survived by his daughter, LaTonya, his three sisters, Betty R. Fryer, Linda R. Giles, and Carolyn R. Taylor, his three brothers, Tim Ruffins, Sammuel Ellis, and Roy Ellis, his caregiver-stepdaughter, Arlene Jones, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
