McKinzie McClain

Mr. McKinzie McClain, 90, of 901 Parrot Avenue, Kinston, NC closed his eyes into eternal rest on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at UNC Lenoir Health in Kinston, NC surrounded with family at his bedside.  Funeral services for Mr. McClain will be held at 11:00am on Friday, August 2, 2024, at St Peter Church of Christ (602 JP Harrison Blvd) Kinston, NC.  Interment will follow in Pinelawn Memorial Park (4488 Hwy 70 W) Kinston, NC.  A walk-through viewing will be held on Thursday, August 1, 2024, from 3-6:00pm at the funeral home.  Masks are available if needed.

Mr. McClain is survived by his wife, Carolyn Joyner McClain of the home, his children, Clarence Picken (Khadija), Kenneth McClain (Tammy), Larry McClain, Douglas McClain (Stacey), Eric McClain, Wheeler Davis (Lisa), Queen Esther McClain, Christine McClain, Phyllis Hall, Teresa Gooding, Amanda Thompson, his siblings, Nora Koonce, Lula Mae Bacote, Oscar B. McClain, Laverne McClain, a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
