Mr. Eddie Lee Simmons Sr.

Mr. Eddie Lee Simmons Sr., 78, of 511 N. Queen Street, Kinston, NC peacefully entered into eternal rest on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at Greendale Forrest Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Snow Hill, NC. Funeral services for Mr. Simmons will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Emmanuel United Christian Church, 114 Lincoln Street, Kinston, NC. Interment will follow in the Grant Cemetery in the Browntown community of Snow Hill, NC. 

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 12, 2019 from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Simmons is survived by his daughter, Gwen Lewis of Kinston, NC; sons, Eddie Lee (Melody) Simmons Jr., Ronald (Jennifer) Simmons, Leslie Simmons all of Allentown, PA and Terrill Shepherd of Texas; sister, Doris M. Simmons of Silver Springs, MD; and one aunt, Helen Simmons of Atlanta, GA. He also leaves to cherish his memory a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
