Mr. Rufus “Dick” Hodges, Jr, 63 of 8200 Litchford Falls Road, Raleigh, NC (Formerly of Kinston) closed his eyes into eternal rest early Wednesday morning, December 16, 2020 at Litchford Falls Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Raleigh, NC. Funeral services for Mr. Hodges will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at 12:00 Noon at Church of Faith and Deliverance in Kinston, NC. Interment will follow in Southview Cemetery in Kinston. Viewing will be held on Friday, December 18, 2020 from 3:00 until 6:00 pm at the funeral home and on Saturday at the church one hour prior to service beginning. Social distancing and facial masks are required at the funeral home, church and cemetery.

Mr. Hodges is survived by his children, Antonio Murray, Artiarian Meyers, Tonico Hodges and Nekila Myers; siblings, Essie Bright, Katie “Robin” Cook, Joe Taylor and Roger Branch.
