Mr. Uriah Alexandra Shan

Mr. Uriah Alexandra Shan, 85, of 514-A Tower Hill Road, Kinston, NC, closed his eyes into eternal rest early Wednesday morning, July 31, 2024, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro, NC.  

Funeral services for Mr. Shand will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 9, 2024 at First Missionary Baptist Church, (801 E.Gordon Street) Kinston, NC. Visitation will be held on Friday at the church. There will be no public viewing at the funeral home. 
Interment will follow in the Westview Cemetery (917 Cleveland Drive) Kinston, NC. 

Mr. Shand is survived by his children, Clinton Shand "Melba", Annett Shand, Hopeton Shand, Patrick Shand all of Jamaica, Nkechi Cotton of Kinston, NC, his siblings,Babylyn Shand, Desma Shand, Brenda Shand, Devon Shand all of Jamaica, 6-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
