Mrs. Debra Denise (Best) Koonce

Mrs. Debra Denise Best Koonce, 59, of Kinston, NC entered into eternal life on Friday, June 18, 2021 at Vidant Inpatient Hospice in Greenville, NC. Graveside services for Mrs. Koonce will be held on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Southview Cemetery in Kinston, NC. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 from 3:00 until 6:00 PM at the funeral home. Facial masks and social distancing are required at the funeral home and cemetery. 

Mrs. Koonce is survived by her daughters, Valarie Gibbs, Amesha Best Freeman and Malinda Mitchell; sisters, Deanna Rufus, Demetria Hinton and Margaret Lovick; brother, Woodrew Best; thirteen grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
