Mrs. Saidet "Sweet Sadie" Lanier Whitaker

Mrs. Saidet "Sweet Sadie" Lanier Whitaker, 46, of 4328 Magelian Courts Apt-A, Ayden, NC closed her eyes into eternity on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, NC.  Funeral services for Mrs. Whitaker will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 1:00 pm at St. Mary's Free Will Baptist Church, 311 Arba-Jason Road, La Grange, NC, with Military Honors observed. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 1, 2019 from 3:00 until 7:00 pm at the funeral home.

Mrs. Whitaker is survived by Husband, Mr. Jimmy Whitaker of the home; Two Daughters, Ms. Talonda Lanier of Snow Hill, NC and Ms. Rosalynn Artis of Hookerton, NC and her Mother, Mrs. Ora Lee Lanier of Snow Hill, NC.
