Nancy Mae Hardy Turnage

Ms. Nancy Mae Hardy Turnage, 83, of 508 Wilson Avenue, Kinston, NC, peacefully closed her eyes into the joys of the Lord early Thursday morning, November,16, 2023, at ECU Inpatient Hospice Center in Greenville, NC.  Funeral services for Ms. Turnage will be held at 1:00pm Sunday, November 26, 2023, at Hull Road Free Will Baptist (2660 US-258) Kinston, NC.  Interment will follow in Pinelawn Memorial Park (4488 Hwy 70 W) Kinston, NC.  A walk-through viewing will be held from 3-6:00pm on Saturday, November 25, 2023, at the funeral home.  DUE TO VARIANTS OF COVID-19, MASKS ARE REQUIRED AT THE FUNERAL HOME AND CHURCH.

Ms. Turnage is survived by her daughter, Katta Turnage Laws (Gregory) of Kinston, NC, her siblings, Annie Berry, Sweetie Wooten, Perry Hardy (Leona), and Harold Hardy (Alberta), two grandchildren, Tracie Dixon, and Crystal Gardner (Cedric) two great grandchildren, Sean Lawson, and Megan Gardner, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends including a special nephew, John Gray (Barbara), and a devoted friend, Verna Brown (Julius).
