Mr. Ronald Douglas Petteway, 66, of 103 Orion Street, Kinston, NC closed his eyes into eternal rest on Sunday evening, August 13, 2023, at North Carolina State Veterans Home (2150 Hull Road) Kinston, NC.  Funeral services for Mr. Petteway will be held at 10:00AM on Monday , August 28, 2023,  at St Augustine's Episcopal Church (707 E. Lenoir Avenue) Kinston, NC. Interment will follow in North Carolina State Veterans Cemetery (164 Longs Plant Farm Road) Goldsboro, NC.  A WALK THROUGH VIEWING will be held on Sunday, August 27, 2023,  at the Funeral Home from 3-5PM. DUE TO VARIANTS OF COVID-19, MASKS ARE REQUIRED AT THE FUNERAL HOME, CHURCH AND CEMETERY. 

Mr. Petteway is survived by his siblings, Cynthia D. "Cymp" Pettaway, Roy Lee Petteway, Jr. both of Kinston, NC, Anthony Leon Pettaway of Washington, DC. his nephew, Lorenzo Goulsby of Boston, MA.,  cousins and friends.
