Ms. Ruby May Kornegay, 106, of 514 E. Blount Street, Kinston, NC peacefully closed her eyes into the joys of the Lord on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 in the quietness of her home. Funeral services for Ms. Kornegay will be held at 12:00noon on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at St. Augustus A.M.E. Zion Church (318 E. North Street) Kinston, NC. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Memorial Gardens, Kinston, NC. A walk-through viewing will be held from 3-6:00 pm on Monday, October 3, 2022 at White Rock United Presbyterian Church (514 Thompson Street) Kinston, NC. DUE TO VARIANTS OF COVID-19, MASKS AND SOCIAL DISTANCING ARE REQUIRED AT THE FUNERAL HOME, CHURCH, AND CEMETERY.
Ms, Kornegay is survived by a host of cousins and friends.
