Ruth Lee Obituary
Ms. Ruth Mae Solomon Lee, 95, of 1103 Sycamore Road, Kinston, NC closed her eyes peacefully into the joys of the Lord on Wednesday morning, December 24, 2025, at UNC Lenoir Health Hospital in Kinston, NC. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at St. John Free Will Baptist Church (405 E. Blount Street) Kinston, NC. Interment will follow in Pinelawn Memorial Park (4488 Hwy 70 W) Kinston, NC. A Wake will be held at the church from 3-6:00pm on Friday, January 9, 2026.
Ms. Lee is survived by her beloved sister, Zelena Solomon Lawson of Irvington, NJ, along with a large and loving family of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and many others who cherished her.
A heartfelt and special thank you is extended to Ruth's devoted family support team - her caregivers - who worked diligently, and surrounded her with love, attentiveness, and tenderness until her final days. With grateful hearts, we acknowledge Olene Solomon, Jewel Fowler, Laura Brown, James Solomon, Frederick Graham, Doris Graham, Michael Solomon, Amy Martin, Antwala Parks, and Martha Turnage for their selfless care and deep devotion.
