Samuel Cox Williams

Mr. Samuel Cox Williams, 87, of 901 Parrott Avenue, Kinston, NC, peacefully closed his eyes into the joys of the Lord on Sunday, July 2, 2023, in the quietness of his home.  Funeral services for Mr. Williams will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, June 15, 2023, at River of Life Christian Church (301 N. Secrest Street) Kinston, NC.  Interment will follow in Southview Cemetery (1351 Old Asphalt Road) Kinston, NC.  A walk-through viewing will be held on Friday, July 14, 2023, from 3-6:00pm at the funeral home.   DUE TO VARIANTS OF COVID-19, MASKS ARE REQUIRED AT THE FUNERAL HOME AND CHURCH.

Mr. Williams is survived by his mother, Grace Cox of Kinston, NC, his daughters, Dorothy Geen of Kinston, NC, Sharon Cox Greene of Brooklyn, NY, Gladys Whitfield of Wilson, NC, his stepchildren, Renea McCormick, Gregory McCormick, his siblings, a host of grand and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, two devoted nieces/caregivers, cousins and friends.
