Sheila Denise Exum

Ms. Sheila Denise Exum, 52, of 770 Gates Avenue, Brooklyn, New York (formerly of Kinston, NC) peacefully closed her eyes into the joys of the Lord on Sunday, February 13, 2022 in the quietness of her home.  Graveside service for Ms. Exum will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, March 5, 2022 at Mills Memorial Garden (1300 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, Kinston, NC).  THERE WILL BE NO VIEWING.  DUE TO COVID-19 VARIANTS, MASKS ARE REQUIRED AT THE CEMETERY.  

Ms. Exum leaves to cherish her loving memories a husband, Marlon Brown; her children, Devine Exum, Star Rogers, Niasia Brown, Marlon Malik Brown, and Marquis Brown; goddaughter, Taniyah Jones; mother, Brenda Strong Exum; 9 grandchildren, 4 sisters, 2 brothers, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
