Shelia Denise Poole

Ms. Shelia Denise Poole, 58, of 801 Thompson Street, Kinston, NC peacefully closed her eyes into eternal rest on Friday, May 30, 2024, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro, NC.  A Memorial Service for Ms. Poole will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at Greater Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church (311 East Street) Kinston, NC.  THE ONLY VIEWING will be held on Friday from 4:30-7:00pm at the funeral home (NO VIEWING AT THE CHURCH).  DUE TO VARIANTS OF COVID-19, MASKS ARE REQUIRED AT THE FUNERAL HOME.

Ms. Poole is survived by her mother, Sharah Poole (Herbert Koonce), her brother, Jeromy Poole of the home, her grandmother, Lena Mae Chapman of Kinston, NC, her aunts, Carolyn Poole, Rev. Alice Poole, uncle, Bryant Poole, one of her caregivers, Jewellette Branch all of Kinston, NC, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and a host of aunts and uncles.
