Shirley Teen Simmons Cobb

Mrs. Shirley Teen Simmons Cobb, 84, of 2340 Lovick Road, Kinston, NC peacefully closed her eyes into the joys of the Lord on Monday, January 29, 2024, at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, NC.  Funeral services for Mrs. Cobb will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at Sand Hill Free Will Baptist Church (3181 Neuse Road) Kinston, NC.  Interment will follow in Sand Hill Church Cemetery.  A walk-through viewing will be held from 5-7:00pm on Friday, February 9, 2024, at the funeral home.  DUE TO VARIANTS OF COVID-19, MASKS ARE REQUIRED AT THE FUNERAL HOME AND THE CHURCH.

Mrs. Cobb is survived by her loving devoted husband, Ervin Ray Cobb, Sr. of the home, her children, Ervin Ray Cobb, Jr. (Judy) of Carlisle, PA, Alvinorda "Alvin" Cobb (Bernita) of Kinston, NC, Angella Cobb Coleman (Dwain) of Kittrell, NC, Sharnae Cobb Washington of Raleigh, NC, her siblings, Freddie Lee Simmons of Kinston, NC, Thomas Simmons (Carrie) of Maryland, Larry Simmons of Kinston, NC, Rev. Gloria S. Kilpatrick (William), Ella Faye S. Brooks of Kinston, NC, Peggy S. Murphy of Maryland, 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 2 great great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and special godchildren.
