Troy Van Moye

Mr. Troy Van Moye, 62, of 419 E. Blount, Kinston, NC, closed his eyes peacefully into eternal rest on Sunday, April 9, 2023, in the quietness of his home surrounded with family.  Funeral services for Mr. Moye will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at the United American Free Will Baptist Tabernacle (1011 Dr. J.E. Reddick Circle), Kinston, NC with Military Honors.  Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery (917 Cleveland Drive) Kinston, NC.  A walk-through viewing will be held on Friday, April 14, 2023, from 3-6:00pm at the funeral home.  DUE TO VARIANTS OF COVID-19, MASKS AND SOCIAL DISTANCING ARE REQUIRED AT THE FUNERAL HOME, CHURCH, AND CEMETERY.

Mr. Moye is survived by his wife, Cecilia Cannon Moye of the home, his daughter, Ciara Moye of Chapel Hill, NC, his siblings, Sheila Moye, Cynthia Moye, Clarence Dixon, Darnell Moye, Harvey Bell, Darryl Moye, Alex Moye, Jr, one aunt, Alice Cannon, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
