Willie Raye Lofton

Mr. Willie Raye Lofton, 69, of 210 Post Oak Drive, Fayetteville, NC (formerly of Kinston, NC) closed his eyes into eternal rest on Friday, September 20, 2024, at the Veterans Medical Center in Durham, NC.  Funeral services for Mr. Lofton will be held at 1:00pm on Sunday, September 29, 2024, at Herring Grove Free Will Baptist Church (4851 US-70) Kinston, NC.  Interment will follow in Parrott Family Cemetery (6130 US-70) LaGrange, NC.  A walk-through viewing will be held from 3-6pm on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at the funeral home.  DUE TO VARIANTS OF COVID-19, MASKS ARE REQUIRED AT THE FUNERAL HOME AND CHURCH.

Mr. Lofton is survived by his daughter, Briana D. Parrish (Lily) his siblings, Reginald Lofton (Marietta), Jeffery Lofton, Ethel Louise Sutton, Bertha Randolph (Harrison), Lindell Lofton, Shelia L. Wiggins (Corey), 3-special nephews, Gregory, Michael and Kessiah Lofton, a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, a life-long friend and the mother of his daughter, Elizabeth Dillahunt and many other relatives and friends,
