Mr. Yao Mawuli Missebukpo “Leo”, 53, of 751 Sykes Road, Kinston, NC entered into eternal rest on Friday, February 16, 2024, at ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville, NC.  Funeral services for Mr. Missebukpo will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at Greater St. Peter Church (886 Will Baker Road) Kinston, NC.  Interment will follow in Mills Memorial Gardens (1300 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Blvd) Kinston, NC.  A walk-through viewing will be held from 3-6:00pm on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at the funeral home.  DUE TO VARIANTS OF COVID-19, MASKS ARE REQUIRED AT THE FUNERAL HOME AND THE CHURCH.

Mr. Missebukpo is survived by his wife, Donna Wooley Missebukpo, his son’s, Kokou (Aaron), Kodjo (Daniel) of the home, his stepchildren, Daryl, Michael, Deandrea, Larry, and Phillip, his brother, Kossivi Dzigbodi, his sisters, Ayaovi Agbekko, Adjowa of Togo West Africa, step-grandchildren, Alexcias, Juwan, Miecha, Amber, Makiya, Lynette, Kassari, and Kash, Ava Marie, and many other relatives and friends.
