Elder Yvonne Decarlo “Evon” Loftin Thaggard, 68, of 1904 Tower Hill Road, Kinston, NC, peacefully closed her eyes into eternal rest on Thursday morning, October 21, 2021 in the quietness of her home.  Graveside services for Elder Yvonne Thaggard will be held at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at Fairview Cemetery in LaGrange, NC. DUE TO DELTA VIRUS AND COVID-19, MASKS AND SOCIAL DISTANCING ARE REQUIRED AT THE FUNERAL HOME AND CEMETERY.

Elder Thaggard is survived by her children, Bobby (Talanda) Thaggard of the home and Yolanda (Calvin) Thaggard Hunter of Kinston, NC, her siblings; Elder Barbara S. Loftin, Teresa Harper, Johnnie Harper, and Melvin Harper all of LaGrange, NC, Elder Claudia Marie Warren of Fayetteville, NC, Dr. Elaine Harper of Raleigh, NC, and Donald Ray Harper of Kinston, NC, 12 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild, and a host of other relatives and friends.  

Services of Love, Dignity, and Care are being rendered by Albritton-Carraway Funeral Home.
